Habitat for Hope exists to support, serve, and care for families facing the serious or long-term illness of a child. It is a committed group of volunteers and staff who work to form community around families who have traveled to the mid-south to receive medical care for their children.
Their approach is active and holistic. Habitat for Hope steps in to the life of a strained family and commits to a relationship beyond the illness of the child. They serve families by feeding them, providing lodging, helping with transportation, counseling, and staying in close contact once they return home. Recognized as a non-profit in 2005, Habitat for Hope has served over 200 families.
Habitat for Hope’s ministry encompasses:
• Pastoral Care
• Assisting families in critical need
