Mioche & Rosie Rock
Mioche got connected with NMSI through Scott Walker, a board member, during in Spring 2003. Mioche was then a student at Lincoln Christian Seminary. Scott told Mioche about NMSI at a time when he was looking for a credible organization to affiliate with in order to help develop his existing ministry in Haiti. Mioche is honored to be part of the NMSI team.
Mioche and his wife Rosie have been married since 2001. They are the parents of two: son Darcy and daughter Miolie.
The Rocks live and minister in Pignon, Haiti. They currently run a Christian school in the nearby village of Bouyaha where 75 children are being educated and learning about God. As a result, a small congregation of nearly 100 meets on Sunday to worship the Lord. The focus of the Rocks’ ministry is in church planting and community development. In collaboration with other Evangelical churches in Pignon, Mioche has been offering Bible courses and seminars to better equip church leaders in developing their local church. The Rocks are also involved in community development projects and sports ministry. They have participated and sponsored major youth soccer tournaments and run many VBS sessions in town and surrounding villages.
