NMSI Launches Capital Campaign
From its Center for Global Outreach offices in Fort Myers, Florida – New Mission Systems International, a Christian missionary training and sending organization, announces the launch of its first ever capital campaign entitled How Will They Hear?.  NMSI currently has 170 missionaries working in over 24 countries.  The purpose of NMSI’s How Will They Hear? campaign is to send out 400 missionaries in the next 7 years by doubling the current capacity of their ‘Center for Global Outreach’ (CGO) training center.

“This financial campaign will give us the resources needed to adequately train and prepare the people God is bringing to us,” said NMSI President and CEO, Phil Hudson.

The How Will They Hear? campaign goal is $3.6 million dollars over the next 2 years.  “We hope to accomplish this by finding 1500 partners to contribute $100 a month for 24 months,” said J.D. Whitney, an Executive V.P. with NMSI.  “Our board of directors has committed to giving or finding 400 of those partners, and local staff missionaries that work from the CGO in Fort Myers have committed another 100, so that leaves just 1,000 more people to become partners!”

“Most of our missionary staff here at the CGO are preparing for ministry overseas”, says Mr. Hudson.  “They fill key organizational management positions while building the relationships and support needed to go overseas.  NMSI provides the housing and training facilities needed for them to live and work here and for furloughing missionaries between terms of deployment”.
