Teaching eager youth at a retreat in Haiti
Sarah is a Youth Ministry graduate from Kingswood College and grew up with her family in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Sarah has a passion for youth ministry and to disciple young women to live up to their God given potential. She thrives on seeing “the light come on” in young women’s mind as they begin to have hope for their future.
Sarah was introduced to NMSI and YouthHOPE during a Global Youth Ministry course in college. She then did a six month apprenticeship with YouthHOPE (2009) and then lead the summer internship to Malawi (2010).
In 2010, Sarah formally affiliated with NMSI and will be working within the YouthHOPE department where she will be assisting the Director with administrative duties. Sarah’s responsibilities include recruiting college age students to participate in summer internships and apprenticeships as well as creating an opportunity for youth ministries to do Hunger Strike Challenges to create awareness of the needs and lives of youth globally.
While serving in YouthHOPE together, the Lord brought Sarah together with Josh Kaminsky, like-minded and like-hearted. They have plans to marry in 2012. Pray that the Lord would prepare them for marriage and the ministry that He has for them together training and discipling youth.
