Guiding affiliates in joining NMSI
Joyce’s passion is prayer and she joined the Prayer Department of NMSI in 2008. This group meets weekly to support our missionaries in prayer and plan prayer events for the Center for Global Outreach (CGO).
As a teenager, Joyce was interested in missions, but had no idea how to pursue that interest. After high school, she married, had a family and later began a career in banking while acquiring her college education online. Books and prayer fed her passion for missions, along with a short-term project in 2006.
God tapped her on the shoulder in 2008 asking her to use her passion for prayer and her administrative skills to serve in the CGO. They pray for our missionaries, as well as the countries where our missionaries are serving, using Operation World, a prayer guide for every nation. In Human Resources, she uses her administrative gifts to protect, empower, and sustain our affiliates.
