Derek and Tracy Ulmer have been married since October 2010. They both grew up in Kentucky and met in the summer of 2008 while serving as summer program staff with Crossings Ministry. They affiliated with New Mission Systems International (NMSI) in fall of 2010 and are building their support team to serve NMSI’s Center for Global Outreach (CGO) in Fort Myers, Florida.
Derek’s first encounter with NMSI occurred in the summer of 2007 when he participated in an internship to Japan. He graduated from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee, in May of 2008 with the degree of Bible and Missions. Derek’s ministry role will be coordinating Short-term projects with NMSI’s stateside and international missionaries at the CGO.
Tracy graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky, in May of 2010 with a degree in Christian Ministry as well as Recreation, Tourism and Sport Management. She will be involved in planning retreats, conferences and seminars for missionary renewal on regional and global levels.
God has led Derek and Tracy to be servants in His ministry to reach the hearts of the unreached through their daily ministry of equipping, developing and supporting the missionaries of NMSI.
