Amadeus and Sofia are German nationals ministering in Berlin, their capital. Amadeus is an ordained pastor with the German denomination of “Muelheimer Verband Freikirchlich-Evangelischer Gemeinden”, commissioned to church planting. He is a graduate of the Giessen School of Theology in Germany and Dallas Theological Seminary. Amadeus felt called to ministry at an early age.
Amadeus and Sofia have partnered with NMSI since 2002 to minister in the district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, the southwest of Berlin. As a minister with a local German church, the Lukas-Gemeinde in Berlin-Schoeneberg, Amadeus gathered a core group to start a new, contemporary style church in the community they live in.
Their dream is to demonstrate the love of God in their materialistic society by creating a loving, authentic and caring church in their midst. A church where everyone can experience God personally. A church that cares deeply for the world we live in. A church striving for transformation one life at a time.
Amadeus and Sofia have four lovely daughters: Lina (2002), Kaija (2004), Nike (2006) and Jule (2009).
