NMSI Involvement
NMSI has been working in Ukraine since 2008. God has called NMSI to minister to an unreached community in southern Ukraine, in an orphanage with children with physical and mental handicaps. God is bringing the love of Christ and the Kingdom of God within the walls of a place that is typically bleak, lifeless and lacking in hope. God’s light and love are now shining and transforming the lives of these children, teenagers, and even the workers who are there to care for them.
Current ministries in Ukraine include:
- Orphan care
- Ministering to physically and mentally handicapped children and teens
- Education
- Art and Developmental skills
- Rehabilitation
Prayer Points
Spiritual awakening to happen in the orphanage throughout Ukraine.
Local believers to see the children in these homes as valuable in God’s Kingdom and become more involved.
Wisdom as more programs are being developed to meet the specific needs of various children.
The children, as they grow too old for the orphanages, and are left on their own or put in long-term facilities with little chance for a meaningful life.
More workers, especially those with rehabilitation expertise, to love on and work with these children.
God’s love to be seen by the nannies and administrators, that they too would seek the Lord as they see the childrens’ lives transformed.
