NMSI Involvement

NMSI first began to work in Uganda in 2008. NMSI is investing in the training and strengthening of the church in Uganda through the ministry of Africa Renewal Christian College (ARCC), formerly known as Gaba Bible Institute (GBI), located at their new campus in Buloba.  Today NMSI also cooperates with Africa Renewal Ministries (ARM)-Uganda, the founders of ARRC, whose mission is to enhance the holistic development of children, church and community through support systems that shall ensure next generation Christian leaders.

Current NMSI ministries in Uganda:

• Leadership Development for 8,000+ children, teens, college students, corporate leaders and pastors at ARM
• Creating and Distributing Christian Literature for pastors in their local languages
• Training over 110 students from nine countries including Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Congo, Burundi, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Eritrea, and the Philippines at ARCC
• Programs in Biblical Studies, Pastoral Ministries and Worship Leading at ARCC
• Preparing Christian leaders working with children at risk with programs in Child Development and Disability Studies

Prayer Points

• God would continue to provide faculty and staff with a heart to train up servant leaders
• Provide room for ARCC to continue to expand our training facilities to make room for 250 students
• Graduates serving in the field, that they would preach the word with their lives and voices
