NMSI Involvement:

NMSI became involved in Mozambique in 2007 by partnering with two ministries and sending two interns on short-term assignments in 2007 and 2008.  These interns ministered through agriculture, community development and relational discipleship.  Ministry will continue in Mozambique long-term in 2012 with an agricultural business ministry in Nampula.  NMSI missionaries will be involved in relational discipleship and serve as agricultural consultants to multiple businesses.

Prayer Points:

• Leaders in the church of Mozambique to grow in love and maturity of the knowledge of the gospel and our Triune God
• Bonds of poverty may be broken through the empowerment of agricultural, business, and Bible training programs
• Hearts to be after our Maker, and that through his pursuit of us we may hear and see the plans he has for us and for all that we are doing
• Darkness would be turned into light and emptiness be made into abundance
• Workers may be able to do all things in joy
