While the UN temporarily halted aid to Myanmar on Friday, NMSI missionaries within the city of Yangon are able to receive funds and will be distributing much needed aid this weekend and throughout the coming weeks in the wake of the devastation of cyclone Nargis.
NMSI workers in Myanmar are doing what they can for those around them affected by the cyclone. $100 is enough to provide help to an entire family.
God is keeping the door open for the body of Christ, through NMSI, to provide relief and aid in this critical time. We are asking for your help and generosity in aiding the thousands of people in Myanmar who need the assistance we can provide.

1.5 million people are in urgent need of aid in Myanmar following a cyclone and tidal wave that struck the country on Saturday, May 3rd. Myanmar state media report more than 22,000 deaths from the storm. Some sources fear as many as 100,000 may be dead. Most of those killed were killed by the tidal wave which destroyed many villages completely.
Need for clean water, food, and shelter is very high. NMSI is accepting donations toward relief efforts and has already begun distributing relief supplies.
